Company Safety Stand Down Day

On Friday 4th July, our team came together for a Company Safety Stand Down Day at the Swansea.com Stadium — an important event dedicated to reinforcing our commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing across Celvac.

The day was packed with informative and inspiring sessions, covering key topics such as:

• Manual Handling – Practical advice and techniques to reduce the risk of injury.

• Nutrition and Wellbeing – Guidance on how to fuel our bodies and maintain energy levels.

• Culture Change in the Workplace – Exploring how small changes in attitudes and behaviours can have a big impact on safety and teamwork.

With our teams operating across the UK, it’s not always easy to get everyone together in one place. This event provided a rare and valuable opportunity for us to connect face-to-face, share experiences, and strengthen the strong safety culture we pride ourselves on.

It was also the perfect occasion to showcase our recently refurbished Hazardous Goods Hypervac — an important piece of equipment in our work, now better than ever to handle demanding tasks safely and efficiently.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success — from our engaging guest speakers to the team members who organised and attended. Events like this remind us that safety isn’t just a policy — it’s a shared responsibility and a core part of how we work.
